More Clay Please by Samantha Welch

The clay is really piling on to the sculpture’s armatures now … and in places its being finely scraped into shape.
Tim Mooney was here this week to do some photography for us.

Hands On by Samantha Welch

Sculpture classes are really ‘taking shape’ now. Two new students started this week and it didn’t take them long to get up to speed. Emphasis this week was generally getting the total form together.

Welcome by Samantha Welch

Welcome to Myocum School of Sculpture. We are off and away with our first sculpture course and its so exciting. My good friend and Master Sculptor DAMIEN LUCAS has joined me along with 10 students and classes are just too much fun.

I always knew that a good sculpture school needs perfect surrounds to bring the most out of the student / teacher interaction. By the way things are going well here, I think we have achieved a great environment for sculpture… great amenities set in a beautiful 5 acre private garden with north views to Mount Warning and the rolling hinterland of Byron Bay all around.
